Academic Calendar

The academic year runs from the beginning of August to the end of July: 1 August 2020 - 31 July 2021.

The academic year consists of two semesters: the autumn and spring semester. The autumn semester starts on 1 August and ends on 31 December, and the spring semester starts on 1 January and ends on 31 July.

The schedule of the Teacher Education College differs from the schedule of the other units.

Enrolment for attendance/non-attendance and for courses

Enrolment for attendance/non-attendance, autumn semester 2020

• from 18 May 2020 to 16 August 2020
• New students enrol for attendance/non-attendance through Studyinfo.fi service.

Enrolment for courses, autumn semester 2020

• from 3 August 2020 to 30 August 2020
• Incoming exchange students: Enrolment for courses will be done separately.
• The second enrolment period if needed: from 31 August 2020 to 6 September 2020

Enrolment, spring semester 2021

• Enrolment for attendance/non-attendance and courses: from 2 November 2020 to 30 November 2020.
• New students enrol for attendance/non-attendance through Studyinfo.fi service.
• The second enrolment period if needed: from 4 January 2021 to 10 January 2021

Enrolment for Summer studies

• from 1 December 2020 to 30 April 2021
