General Descriptions and Curricula

The curriculum is a general description of the degree programme and its course requirements.

The curriculum comprises

  1. the core section that is common to all degree programmes, the Principles of the Curricula (pdf)
  2. the general description specific to the degree programme
  3. the structure and competencies of studies.

The programmes and instruction in them is organised through courses, which form competence areas. The courses to be completed are either basic or professional studies, or involve practical training or writing the bachelor’s thesis. The competence areas and courses can be compulsory, optional or elective.
