JAMK is the most enterprise-oriented university in Finland. We want to support our students’ entrepreneurship competence, commercialisation of business ideas and development of business activities.

Entrepreneurship requires the skill to recognise business opportunities along with the ability to discover and utilise innovative operating methods and commercialise them. All master’s degree students have the opportunity to further develop their entrepreneurship competence and business operations by choosing the joint master’s degree study module, master’s degree entrepreneurship path studies, as part of their studies in accordance with their Personal Learning Plan.

The study module is on the degree structure under the name Master's Growth in Entrepreneurship 15 credits. The studies can be completed as optional vocational studies or elective studies. The objective of the master’s degree entrepreneurship path studies is to develop the establishment of students’ own business activities and the growth of operating businesses with a coaching and multidisciplinary approach.
