The quality system provides the students with an opportunity to participate in and influence on the development of their education and the operations of the whole university of applied sciences. Important for the quality management are different forms of feedback.
- Course feedback is collected on the courses selected by the head in charge of the degree programme. By giving course feedback you can have a say on how the course will be implemented in the future. If necessary, the head in charge of the degree programme will discuss the development of the course with the teacher.
- AVOP feedback: At the time of graduation the students respond to the AVOP survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture https://avop.fi/en. The information is gathered on teaching and learning, internationalization, working life connections, practical training, thesis and student satisfaction.
- Master's follow-up survey: Every two years JAMK will mail a questionnaire to the graduated Master's Degree students asking them to give their views about the skills and competences they have acquired as part of their studies and charting their employment situation. Responses will provide students with information about employment prospects in the sector and JAMK with feedback on the impact of the training. This will help us in the development of the degree programmes.
In addition to using feedback forms, you can also give direct feedback. If you notice that there are teaching-related development needs, you should first discuss the matter with your teacher. If the discussion with the teacher does not produce results, you can contact the head in charge of the degree programme or the quality coordinator of your own unit.
The reports on the feedback are available on the Elmo student (login required).
