Archiving and Publishing

In order to be able to apply for your degree certificate, the student must have submitted the electronic archiving copy of the thesis and the Theseus transcript (permission to publish) for a public thesis or a paper copy (no permission to publish, deliver to the Education Secretary).

The thesis being submitted must be approved and there must be a grade marked for it in the student’s ASIO information.

An archiving copy of a completed thesis is submitted with an electronic form to JAMK’s electronic archive. Both public and confidential theses are saved in JAMK’s electronic archive.

Please, see detailed instructions (login required) on the Elmo student.

Publishing - either electronic or hard copy

After the archiving, the student has to publish the thesis.

The bachelor’s thesis is a public document, and it is available in an electronic format in the Theseus Database or as a hard copy in the library. Theseus is an electronic library of the Finnish universities of applied sciences. Please, see information on publicity here.
